Edging
Armor Tuff offers two types of edging, Matched Interlocking Edging and Glue on Ramp Edging.
Our Interlocking Edging has matched teeth either T-Joint or Dovetail Joint and thickness to the tile you purchase. Sloping design transitions the tile height to the floor to help to prevent falls and offer a clean edge. Manufactured in all of the same colors as Armor Tuff Tiles to achieve a clean, safe transition to your floor. Full length connection assures long life. The Interlocking Edging is frequently used for garage and entrance doors where you ‘start’ the floor, areas that are not wall-to-wall, and displays and trade show booths. Manufactured in 5mm and 7mm thicknesses. Each piece of edging matches the corresponding tile. We also offer the edges in ‘corner’ pieces which overlap at 90 degrees to offer a clean transition for exposed corners. Please note that we do not offer interlocking edging for our Hidden Joint Series. Please note that this type of edging the teeth can be ‘cut off’ if needed and then glued to the floor adjoining the tile to offer a smooth, clean, matching transition. Sold in 4-Packs only.
Armor Tuff also offers Glue On Ramp Edging that has a ‘socket’ to insert the edge of your tile into with your or our adhesive. Custom manufactured by us in black and gray colors (custom colors available, minimums apply). Socket accepts 5mm and 7mm sizes. Offered in any length needed easily cut/trimmed in the field.
